લગ્ન જીવનનો ખૂબ જ મહત્વપૂર્ણ નિર્ણય છે. તમે શરૂઆતમાં તમારા એકલા જીવનનો આનંદ માણી શકો છો, પરંતુ જીવનમાં એક સમય એવો આવે છે જ્યારે તમને જીવનસાથીની જરૂર લાગે છે. તેથી જ દરેકને લાગે છે કે લગ્ન કર્યા પછી સ્થાયી થવું જોઈએ. પરંતુ લગ્ન પણ દરેકનું નસીબ હોતા નથી. કેટલાક લોકો એવા છે કે જેઓ લગ્ન કરવા માંગતા હોય તો પણ થતાં નથી. હવે આ ઉત્તરપ્રદેશના શામલી જિલ્લાના કૈરાના શહેરના 26 વર્ષ જુના મોહમ્મદ અઝીમની જ વાત લઈ લો.
મોહમ્મદ અઝીમ લગ્ન કરવા માટે તૈયાર છે, પરંતુ તેમને કોઈ સારી છોકરી મળી રહી નથી. તાજેતરમાં મહિલા પોલીસ સ્ટેશનમાં જઇને લગ્ન કરાવવા વિનંતી કરી છે. હકીકતમાં, મોહમ્મદની ઉંચાઇ તેના લગ્નજીવનમાં એક અવરોધ છે. તે ફક્ત બે ફૂટના છે. આ કારણોસર, તેને યોગ્ય વહુ શોધવામાં મુશ્કેલી આવી રહી છે. સામાન્ય લંબાઈ ન હોવાના કારણે તેને કોઈ પોતાની દીકરી આપી રહ્યું નથી.
આ જ કારણ છે કે, ગુસ્સે થયેલા યુવક મહિલા સ્ટેશન પહોંચ્યો અને હાથ જોડીને વિનંતી કરવા લાગ્યો, ‘મેડમ મારા લગ્ન કરાવી દો, હું ક્યાં સુધી કુંવારો રહીશ’. તેણે પોલીસને એમ પણ કહ્યું કે, જો તેને દુલ્હન મળશે તો પણ તેનો પરિવાર તેના લગ્ન થવા દેશે નહીં.
મોહમ્મદે કહ્યું કે, તે લાંબા સમયથી લગ્ન ન થવાના કારણે ચિંતામાં હતો. આ કારણોસર જ તેણે મહિલા પોલીસ સ્ટેશનનો દરવાજો ખટખટાવ્યો છે.
એકલતાથી પરેશાન યુવકે પોલીસ સ્ટેશનથી એસડીએમ અને અન્ય અધિકારીઓ સુધી લગ્નની ઇચ્છા વ્યક્ત કરી છે. તેણે બધાની સામે મદદ માટે હાથ ફેલાવ્યા છે. દુર્ભાગ્યવંશ, કોઈએ તેની માંગને ગંભીરતાથી લીધી નહોતી. એટલે તે વીલા મોઢે પરત ફર્યો હતો. આ યુવક હજુ પણ કુંવારો છે. હવે તો તેના પરિવારના સભ્યોએ પણ સ્વીકારી લીધુ છે કે, તેનું લગ્ન થશે નહીં. આ બધી વાતોને લઈને આ યુવક ખૂબ ચિતામાં છે.
શું તમારી નજરમાં આ બે ફૂટના વરરાજા માટે કોઈ દુલ્હન છે? શું પણ તમને લાગે છે કે, સમાજમાં હાઈટના કારણે છોકરી ન આપવી એ યોગ્ય બાબત છે?? આ બાબતે અમે બસ એટલું જ કહેવા માંગીએ છીએ કે, પ્રેમમાં ઉંમર કે હાઈટનું કોઈ મહત્વ નથી. બસ તમે જેને પસંદ કરો છો, તે તમને પ્રેમ કરતો હોવો જોઈએ…
ઉપરવાળાએ તેના માટે કોઈને કોઈ ક્યાંક ચોક્કથી બનાવી હશે.. તેણે માત્ર રાહ જોવી પડશે. અમે યુવાનને ઉજ્જવળ ભાવિ અને સુખી વિવાહિત જીવનની પ્રાર્થન કરીએ છીએ…
